Hello Friends,

Happy Valentine´s Day!

1 Corinthians 13:1-7

¨If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.  If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing.  If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud  or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.  It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.  Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.¨

WOW! What would our world look like if we actually put that into practice? Instead of trying to get our own way, we would be willing to concede and do it some else´s way. Instead of being jealous over our neighborś new car, we would be happy for him. Instead of being irritable with that person who gets on our nerves, we would be patient and kind. And, we would completely forget about it when we were wronged by someone else. I pray that my life will look like that.

In our weekly club meetings, we have started a 4 part video series by Dr Caroline Leaf on How to Detox our brain according to the scripture. Dr Leaf is a cognitive neuroscientist who had a practice in South Africa for over 20 years, and now travels around the USA to churches, talking about how we can ¨take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ¨.

It is such an incredible blessing that I get to do what I do every week! I am so thankful to the Lord for allowing me and equipping me in this great work with military families!

Thank you so much for your monthly prayers and financial support--it means so much!

Blessings,

Cheryl Good

What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin ? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.
