Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
We have had a great month. We took a group to a local nursing home and sang Christmas carols to them. The residents enjoyed having all of us, and the kids were able to involve themselves in ministering to others, which blesses their lives. We have also been very busy getting prepared for our Christmas program at the chapel. As many of you already know, I am in charge of the music and many of our youth also participate in the music ministry there. We had a great time of worship and celebration on Sunday, December 15, with a children's choir, adult choir, handbell choir and some of the youth playing instruments and singing in the program.
Please pray for our military families to have safe travels through the holidays. Pray also for those who can't go home, that they will find someone to celebrate with, and not be alone.
What a wonderful time of the year, as we celebrate the birth of our Savior! It is hard to understand why the God of all the universe would love us so much that He would send His only Son into our world, the world that He made and we messed up, to become one of us and give His life for our sins.
Ephesians 3:19a says, "May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to undertand fully..."
We cannot understand this kind of love; we can just accept it and revel in it and then show this love to others who need His love in their lives.
Thank you all so much for your monthly donations and your prayer for me and for this ministry!
I pray that you will experience God's great love as you celebrate Jesus' birth. Have a very Merry Christmas!!
