John 8:32 says,
And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
This is what I pray for the precious lives that have been entrusted to me in the ministry. This generation is seeking for meaning and fulfillment, and that is a good thing, because they will find it in the person of Jesus Christ.
One thing that is always a point of discussion is the subject of dating. I always try to convey to the students that before they are ready to open their lives to someone else, they need to be ok with who they are in Christ. They don't need to seek fulfillment in another person, but only seek their fulfillment in Christ.
The month of July ended with the Motion Conference in Birmingham, AL. We joined with 16,000 others in worship and receiving the Word of God each day . We saw the Spirit of God moving in each session, and we came home with definite changes in our regular routines.
We are still reading through the book of Revelation each week, verse by verse, and receiving that blessing that is promised to those who are willing to read and hear the words of this book. The Word of God is so powerful!
"And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death."
I pray that our lives will be a testimony of His grace as we learn to trust Him more.
We have several students who just graduated high school and are starting college as freshmen. Some are going away and some are staying here. A few are actually not going to college but are in the work force, Army or taking a gap year. Please pray for them--for guidance and direction in the decisions they have to make and also for protection as their Christian worldview may be challenged in the classrooms, workforce or Army.
Thank you all so much for your prayer support and your financial support each month. You are a vital part of this ministry!
What a blessing to be among the 16,000 teenagers and young adults worshipping our great God at Motion2019!
Ezekiel Hunter, one of our youth who attends each week, is in the Army and was promoted to Specialist
A typical night at Club H2O. We love to play crazy games, eat food, worship and study the Word of God. We have had more new families to come in since this picture was made.
